Whew.....

Had a bit of a scare last week....I posted on FB Lizzy was having some issues.....mainly getting up and at one point fell completely down. Of course I was worried it had something to do with her cancer.....took her to the vet, arthritis. I breathed a sigh of relief.....just on prednisone for a few days. My friend Cyndii was getting rid of a large area rug , and brought that over to help with my slick floors. Thanks again Cyndii!!!! All the dogs love it!!!

Especially TJ...even if it wasn't for him all can fit!!!
So this happened on Sunday.....
I heard a terrible noise outside.....it was hail....haven't seen hail in ages.....
Then this pic.....I know it's hard to see but some wren's have set up house in an old soda box I forgot to throw away. The mom spends all day feeding them , and dodging the dogs!! What a life......
I am so happy Lizzy was ok....the vet calls her a miracle....it's been exactly 9 months since she got ill and we never expected her to still be here!!!! You just never know.....
Have a wonderful evening.......

  3. Howdy Mates. Glad you got the carpet to help Lizzy with her getting up and down. I, Rory, have trouble with slippery floors cause I had a spinal stroke about 16 months ago and have a dodgy leg now. Mum puts a row of carpet squares along the slippery bits so I have a path of my own to walk on! Take care all.
No worries, and slobbers, Rory and Stella

  4. My older cat has arthritis in his elbows. I know what you mean about watching them struggle to get up and down. Hopefully, the rugs do the trick!

  5. I'm glad to hear your Lizzy just had some arthritis. Our last pup had cancer and any time she would limp or act a little off, I would worry SO much! It was usually nothing serious though. We had a wonderful 15 months with her post-diagnosis. I'm sure, like we did, you are treasuring every day with her!

Thanks for stopping by Pooch Smooches last week!
