A Fun Friday......
This last Friday Elsie, Denise and I got the pleasure of visiting TMR Rescue. This is a sanctuary for over 400 donkeys, mules and horses. Most of them had been neglected or abused and some of the horses were used for medical experiments. At TMR they get to live out the rest of their lives on a peaceful sanctuary. They also had some dogs they would like to get adopted, some babies just dumped there. Donkeys don't like dogs , so the dogs have to be confined most of the time. I know some all breed rescues , so I'm going to help with the dogs. We did get to have a tour of the 207 acre ranch and it was great!!!!
Here's what we saw......
We saw beautiful horses and donkey's in ever size, shape and color!!! I could have stayed up there all day...it was truly a great experience....and a fantastic group of people taking care of all these guys!!!

TMR is a wonderful place and I had such a good time out there! I loved hearing the donkey music while we toured the place and, it had been so long since I'd been around any donkeys, I'd forgotten how much personality they have. The facility is absolutely gorgeous and I'm so happy such a place exists.

DeleteOh, that sounds wonderful! I love donkeys!! They have the sweetest faces! Those adoptable pups look very sweet too! Hope they find furever homes soon!
