Lizzy Update.......

When I wrote last I thought it was over for Lizzy  this has been a terrible month, a couple of docs said she wouldn't make it through surgery but in the end I took my vet's advice and took Lizzy to the teaching hospital at Texas A&M, one of the best around. Today she had surgery and she made it through just fine......they removed a 4 inch mass off her duodenum......but looks like she might have more of them. She might have some problems over the long haul with pancreatitis and we won't know if the mass is cancerous for another 3 or 4 days. Keep good thoughts.....still very worried for my girl and I hope I haven't made things worse for her.
